From Fosse to Balanchine (2014)
An academic exploration of Ira Levin’s satirical thriller The Stepford Wives (1972) employing the contrasting choreographic styles of Bob Fosse and George Balanchine.

This piece examines the contrasting states of individuality and conformity in Levin’s seminal work by alternately isolating and intertwining the characteristic features of Fosse’s Jazz and Balanchine’s ballet.
