The Stepford Wives (2014)

An academic exploration of Ira Levin’s satirical thriller The Stepford Wives (1972), employing the contrasting choreographic styles of Bob Fosse and George Balanchine.

This piece examines the juxtaposition of individuality and conformity in Levin’s seminal work by alternately isolating and intertwining the distinct characteristic features of Fosse’s jazz and Balanchine’s ballet.
